Angelito Motor Yacht

About the Angelito Motor Yacht

The Angelito I motor yacht was built in 1992, at that time for operating as a fishing boat in the Galapagos Islands. Later, however, the owners — concerned about ecological damage — transformed their craft into a modern and convenient mode of transportation for tourists visiting the Galapagos archipielago.

The ship was christened “Angelito” by Leonardo and Hugo Andrade to honor their grandfather, Angel, who helped them build their first fishing boat. With over 20 years of experience in managing tourism in the islands, they renovated Angelito I, a yacht that in addition to providing all the amenities, meets all international safety and navigational requirements.

The Angelito can accommodate a total of 16 passengers in its 8 double-occupancy cabins, each of these staterooms having bunk beds and their own private bathrooms with hot water. The ship is equipped with a dining room, a bar area and four sundecks – perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sunshine of the Galapagos.

The itineraries of Angelito I can extend for 4, 5 or 8 days, allowing travelers to visit the most representative points across the archipelago.
