Galapagos Legend

About the Galapagos Legend
Galapagos Legend Information

Designed specifically for cruising the Galapagos Islands, the Galapagos Legend offers all the amenities of a larger cruise liner yet still has the intimate feel of family-style cruising.

This 300-foot ocean-going cruise ship provides all the facilities and services to make your cruise around the Galapagos Islands enjoyable and comfortable.

The Galapagos Legend has a capacity for 90 passengers and all the commodities of a cruise liner while remaining small enough for that intimate experience with nature that first attracted you to the Galapagos Islands.

Its fully carpeted luxurious cabins have ocean views, closets and their own private bathrooms offering hot and cold water, hair dryers, safe deposit boxes and other amenities.

Public features aboard include a swimming pool, expansive sundecks and observation platforms, an outside pool bar and inside bars, a spacious dining room, a clinic & massage, a library & video room, piano lounge, and computers equipped with games and internet access. Other facilities include an auditorium for naturist briefings, spacious social areas and a 24-hour coffee bar.

At night guests can enjoy live music at the piano lounge, cocktail bars, or keep in touch with family and friends using our long distance call facility.

The Galapagos Legend offers a high level of comfort, safety and service on board. There are alfresco dining areas for having lunch or enjoying romantic dinners under the stars, as well as a spacious lounge which is the venue for live shows with folkloric music, as well as “Neptune parties” for celebrating the crossing of the equator and even dance lessons.

The Galapagos Legend prides itself on having a highly trained hotel and ship crew. In addition, the vessel also has the services of a doctor 24-hours-a-day, as well as six multilingual naturalist guides aboard who lead daily shore excursions and offer briefings to prepare passengers about the islands to be visited the next day.

The decks of the Legend provide spacious social areas that invite guests to relax and enjoy the magical realm created by nature, enriched by the sun and soothed by the sea breezes.
