Eric, Letty & Flamingo Yachts

About the Eric, Letty & Flamingo Yachts
Eric, Letty & Flamingo Yachts Information

These three superior first-class, sister yachts — the Eric, Letty & Flamingo — were custom-designed for cruising the Galapagos Islands.

Built in 1991 and refurbished annually, each vessel accommodates no more than 20 guests and features three decks with spacious staterooms boasting polished teak interiors trimmed with shiny brass fittings.

Each motor yacht has 10 double outside-facing cabins, each with a window or porthole, each furnished with two twin beds or one double bed, a roomy closet, drawers, overhead storage plus climate controls, an intercom system and a private bath.

The boats also feature spacious common areas which include a sundeck, dining room, a well-stocked bar, a conference area with flat screen TVs and a VCR (for briefings about the plants, wildlife and natural history during your Galapagos expedition), stereo cassette/CD equipment, and a book- and video library to escape the midday heat.

In addition, those who worship the equatorial sun, twinkling stars and wind across the ocean are welcome to relax on the sun deck. The deck is also great for catching the ocean breeze as you cruise through Darwin's biological paradise. If you prefer to stay out of the sun, picture windows surround the upper two decks and offer spectacular panoramic views of the landscape of the islands and the deep blue sea.

As a pioneer in sustainable travel, our company is proud to share that the Eric was also the first hybrid boat to cruise the Galapagos with the installation of solar panels.

Low guide-to-passenger ratios aboard the Eric, Letty & Flamingo (one expert naturalist bilingual guide for every 10 passengers) ensure highly-personalized service and intimate experiences on your on-shore excursions, snorkeling tours or panga-boat trips through the Galapagos Islands. An experienced captain, eight dedicated crew members, and two experienced English-speaking naturalist guides attend to you during your entire Galapagos cruise. Each naturalist guide takes a group of no more than 10 passengers on the shore excursions and shares his extensive knowledge about the island’s diverse wildlife with you. Small wooden boats, locally called pangas, ferry passengers to shore for Island visits.

Below you’ll find two unique 8-night itineraries offer aboard the Eric, Letty & Flamingo motor yachts.
